Is that the right chord? Jonathan Zimmer at the piano in a fedora-and-bowtie phase. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he grew up in New Jersey, studied biometry at the Medical University of S.C. in Charleston, South Carolina, earned an A.S. in Physics from Gloucester County College, Sewell, NJ, a B.A. in Mathematics from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ, and an M.A. in Education from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ. He has worked as a college math instructor, technical writer, and defense engineer for the U.S. Navy's AEGIS project. He wrote the book, music, lyrics, and piano-vocal score for a children's musical play which was produced by a local amateur drama group. He has interests in mathematics, science, philosophy, and comparative religion. His hobbies include chess, film, piano, and tennis. He is a life member of the high-IQ society Mensa. He has been a life member of the Theosophical Society since 2006. He currently lives in a Victorian house in a small town in southern New Jersey with several cats.
